Play and be happy…

Hayeswick Day Nursery is a family run nursery which aims to provide high quality day care for children between the ages of 3 months – 5 years in a safe, caring, happy, stimulating and relaxed environment. Each child will be encouraged to develop and learn through a mixture of structured and free play.

We believe that this approach will help children to develop naturally their own unique, social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional skills and will lay the foundations for reading, writing, mathematical and scientific understanding, in preparation for primary school and the requirements of the National Curriculum. Babies will be given plenty of time to progress within a loving, homely environment at their own pace. We will encourage them to crawl, walk, talk, to be inquisitive and to build new and trusting relationships.

Tiny Tots

Here we offer the opportunity to learn through play, teaching your child to develop essential skills. Some examples of this are: Mark Making activities, Hand-Eye Co-ordination activities, role-play, interactive group times, and creative sensory play. We promote independence by encouraging and supervising toilet training journeys, self-serving snack and tea times, and taking part in a daily routine.

Pre School

EYFS

We follow all the guidelines laid down by OFSTED concerning The Early Years Foundation Stage, with an emphasis on having fun and making sure that every child has a happy and stimulating experience. Your child will learn through play and by experiencing a wide range of materials, resources, and equipment, will develop physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social skills.

The reason I first looked at Hayeswick was the close proximity to our house in the same road – I thought it would be very convenient to live near to the nursery my child would go to. First impressions were great. Before I even looked around I knew the atmosphere must be nice due to the happy noises of children playing one can hear over the fence from the nursery garden – children having fun is a great first impression.

We can’t speak highly enough of Hayeswick and feel privileged to have secured a place for our daughter who has attended the nursery for nearly four years. Hayeswick was our first choice of child care provider and continues to exceed our expectations. With strong endorsement by parents in the local area, from the very first visit, we were confident we were making the right decision. Initial interaction with the nursery started before our daughter was born so it was hard to know what to expect but several aspects shone through; professional management team, the quality of the staff, warm and friendly environment and high level of attention to the children’s needs.

Our twin sons received a very warm welcome from all the staff from the moment they joined the nursery. The setting is bright, clean and happy. The key staff members are visibly conscientious with the care of our children and provide just the right level of communication, so we are always confident leaving them in the care of the Hayeswick team. The management and administrative staff are also friendly and efficient and have bent over backwards to meet our childcare needs.

…Monica, the cook was fantastic as well. She prepared \’special\’ food for my son as he was a fussy eater. I don\’t know how she managed to get him eating normally but by the end of 2 years, she did.
The staff at Hayeswick are friendly and they seem very happy. They have time to play, laugh and get messy with the kids. What better people to leave our precious children with.
